I have been telling anyone who would listen to avoid baby products with SLS in – because SLS was created as an engine cleaner in the early 1900’s and now we bath even our newborns in it. There’s no PROOF that it’s carcinogenic, but perhaps that’s because we haven’t tested it yet. Thanks for sharing this info! (oh, SLS = Sodium Laureth/Lauryl Sulphate. It’s in most of the baby stuff you buy commercially.

Yes, this article is about the States, but is also sooo applicable to the UK and Europe. We worry about eating organic food, but how closely do we look at the ingredients in our cosmetics, face creams, household cleaners, air fresheners, etc? A lot of the ingredients in the most popular brands are in fact, toxic.
