What is wonderful about vegtable gardening with your children is that it encorages them to nuture the plants, watch them develop, stimulate questions and if you are lucky eat the veg.

I would love for my kids to enjoy gardening. My cunning plan is to encourage them to love it so much they voluntarily do the weeding
lol I like your style!

start them early I say! At 14 months my daughter has grown her own tomatoes and potatoes. She waters them, picks them and digs them…. and of course, EATS them!
Totally agree – this year we grew blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and tomatoes. My 2 1/2 yr old who is incredibly faddy has loved picking and eating the fruit. Now i just have to stop my 11 month old picking and eating the green tomatoes and it will be job done!
